---2018 mid-year meeting of Hoyo was successfully held in Pingtan Waste Water Treatment Plant in Guangdong

 

Faced with the prospect of time flashing by so quickly, it is essential to seize every moment of opportunity and take action. In the blink of an eye, the halfway point of 2018 has been passed. What is the current status of the Hoyo tasks set for the first half of the year? Is the work target for the remainder of the year clear and feasible and how may we implement it in detail?

 

From July 20th to July 23rd, Victor Lv, Board Chairman of the Hoyo Group, personally led the event, with attendees from the Nanjing Head Office, the Shanxi Project Management Team and other key staff representatives went to Guangdong Province for the conference. The 2018 mid-year meeting of Nanjing Hoyo Municipal Utilities Investment Management Group was held in the new Huizhou Hoyo Municipal Waste water Treatment Plant Co., Ltd. This plant has been operated by Hoyo for only 3 months and is already successful, heralding a new round of development for Hoyo.

 

Before the meeting began, all the participants visited the group's latest sewage project, Huizhou Hoyo Municipal Waste water Treatment Co., Ltd., located in Pingtan Town, Huiyang District, Huizhou City, Guangdong Province.

 

Before the acquisition of the plant by Hoyo, it was known to have chaotic administration, old equipment and backward technology, resulting in the discharge of black and foul sewage which could not meet the waste water discharge standards. Furthermore, the buildings and facilities in the factory were dilapidated, the weeds were growing everywhere hiding poisonous snakes which appeared from time to time, all of which created a bad reputation for the previous company, the local government concerned and annoyed, the surrounding people complaining and cursing.

 

However, since Hoyo officially settled in and implemented a series of rectification measures including analyzing the situation, checking the state of operation procedures and implementing countermeasures, training the personnel, strengthening the management, replacing the equipment, optimizing the technology, and beautifying the environment, the company has realized a dramatic rejuvenation. In fact the detection index of the effluent sewage has reached or even exceeded the national standard A which has resulted in the operation becoming a model and benchmark for the Huizhou waste water treatment industry.

 

Walking on the neat and beautiful road of the Hoyo Huizhou project site, and witnessing the black and smelly sewage passing through the various treatment devices and finally becoming both colorless and odorless purified discharge water, all the Hoyo family members praised and applauded, and took photos to commemorate the Huizhou miracle and Huizhou speed that has been created by the Hoyo Guangdong team.

 

The theme of this mid-year meeting ‘Strengthening the Culture, Solidifying our Foundation & Exploring further Development,’ the group management personnel presented their work Statements of Pingtan Hoyo Waste water Treatment Plant in Huizhou City, Guangdong Province; the Assessment Method Report of the Overall Shanxi Project and the Operation of the Group Waste water Treatment Plant, the Report on Employees’ Work in the Spirit of the Three Specialties, the Report of Improving Quality, Guaranteeing Safety and Promoting Development, and the report about New Zealand project progress, etc.

Also, the personnel from the headquarters and representatives of the key line employees of the business as well as the Guangdong team representatives, as newcomers to the Hoyo family, all made speeches and work statements on their respective work, corporate culture and personal achievements.

 

During the work reports and the concluding speech, the Chairman pointed out many times that the outstanding and unique Hoyo culture is the company's heart and soul supporting its continuous development. Every Hoyo person must have a strong sense of work responsibility in the whole working process. The business operation and management needs the consistent attitude of fastidiousness and always striving for excellence. Hoyo warriors must constantly activate their brains to reflect and improve their work, going all out to make the work at hand better and the unrealized project into fruition.

 

For the second half of the year, the chairman stressed that everyone should make efforts in their daily work, for tiny details ultimately determine success or failure. Also, all managers must fully predict the expected operating income and outcome, completion of all stages, and job security measures for the next half year to ensure that the implementation of minor strategies will result in large-scale, targeted, and effective achievements.

 

For enhanced publicity and positive promotion, the Chairman of the Board especially proposed that the group should take full advantage not only of the official website but also new forms of media, for example developing and launching a wonderful WeChat official account for mobile phones with beautiful interface, which contains such columns as ‘the presentation of outstanding Hoyo warriors,’ or ‘Hoyos latest project dynamics,’ etc. 

 

In this manner we may develop the strength and disposition of the employees, encourage the sharing of positive and inspiring anecdotes and help engender consistent Hoyo business development trends. In this manner, we may showcase to the outside world, especially to relevant Government and cooperation partners, the continuous progress of the Hoyo Company.

 

Regarding the development vision of the Hoyo water affairs, our Chairman expressed the importance of careful asset management, carefully designing operating procedural guidelines, optimizing output standards, and to seek out opportunities to assist with the operation of the discharge and treatment of production waste water carried out in industrial enterprises, would be our research and development direction of Hoyo water affairs for a long period of time to come. Thus, we should realize as soon as possible the cooperation with Yili, Jinmailang, Hongxing Erguotou, President and other enterprises in Shanxi to set a good example of the waste water treatment cooperation between Hoyo and industrial enterprises and to create a ‘talent training institution.’ At the same time, Hoyo will also seek opportunities to acquire other small and medium-sized sewage treatment plants, and further improve the water affairs sector.

At the end of the meeting, the participants selected the outstanding managers and the worst managers of the group in 2018 through the form of anonymous ballots. Zhang Yongchun, the group's chief operating officer and general manager of the Shanxi Qixian project, was elected the first among the outstanding managers.

 

In July, the halcyon sky and azure sea makes a visit to Huizhou one of the most special in the entire year. After the meeting the Guangdong team hosted all the guests to visit the famous picturesque Liwan Beach and Delta Island Beach. Excitedly all the Hoyo family members plunged into the open arms of the sea and waved and played games joyfully, enjoyed the unique tropical fruit, delicious seafood, Cantonese morning tea and imported wine to combine to create an idyllic and memorable experience.

 

However the happy time for gathering together had to end and everyone must return to their work. But the Hoyo family members from the Nanjing headquarters of the group, Shanxi and Guangdong agreed that they would come to see each other again at the 2019 annual meeting with more and greater work achievements to report.
