Signing ceremony of education cooperation memorandum

On 10 May 2015, representatives from the People’s Government of Hongze County and Otago Polytechnic, New Zealand, met in Nanjing to discuss an education cooperation project.
The Otago Polytechnic is a New Zealand Government owned institution with the main Campus being located in Dunedin and a boutique Campus in Central Otago in the South Island. There is also an International Campus located in Auckland, North Island. The Otago Polytechnic is a well established institution that has a justifiably deserved reputation for excellence. The education ratings are amongst the highest in New Zealand and the qualifications that are awarded are internationally recognized.
Hongze County is located in central Jiangsu Province, known as ‘the Hometown of Fish and Rice’.
The negotiations for this project proceeded very well and resulted in the signing of an education cooperation memorandum detailing the intention to work together in developing this education platform.
